En Cheng, MD, PhD, is a Research Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Research at Kaiser Permanente Northern California. Dr. Cheng is dedicated to revealing novel biological and biobehavioral pathways to reduce recurrence, mortality, and disparities among cancer patients. Now he is investigating the role of energy balance, health disparities, and molecular biomarkers in cancer survivorship, especially in breast and colorectal cancer. This seminar will focus on colorectal cancer survivorship and disseminate how research in colorectal cancer may inform research in other cancer types. Dr. Cheng’s works have been published in multiple high-profile journals and are widely cited to support federal and institutional guidelines (such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the American Cancer Society).

Please visit the Epidemiology website for more information about Dr. Cheng’s seminar or other upcoming seminars.
