What is your teaching philosophy? If you don't know, come to the Teaching Statement Workshop Series. Most academic institutions ask for applicants for an assistant professor position to submit a teaching statement/philosophy or statement of teaching interest. Come to find out what these requests might mean and how to articulate your ideas in a concise essay. In the first session we will discuss teaching philosophies and what should go in your statement.

You will be invited to join a Peer Review session to learn ways to give feedback and review each other's statements after learning about them in the sessions on Writing a Teaching/Diversity Statement. Register: https://libcal.dartmouth.edu/event/11004230
