Margarita (Maggie) Hernandez is a postdoc in the anthropology department. Maggie was recently awarded the Postdoc Professional Development Award, which she used to attend the annual conferences for the Human Biology Association (HBA) and the American Association of Biological Anthropologists (AABA).

In January this year the Dartmouth College Postdoc Association partnered with peers at the University of New Hampshire to host the 2021 version of Postdoc Research Day. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, events such as the Short Talks, Poster Presentations, and Table Talks all had to adapt to the virtual environment.

Assistant dean for postdoctoral affairs Victoria Alden Blodgett passed away on Wednesday, November 4 after a valiant battle against cancer. Her generosity of spirit, kindness, and powerful advocacy for the Dartmouth postdoc community will be greatly missed.
