A scientist from Partek will be on campus November 8th and 9th in Vail 513 for seminars, workshops and hands on sessions demonstraing the use of their software solutions for genomics data analysis. All Dartmouth researchers interested in using Partek for their data analysis needs are encouraged to attend.

Partek Flow and Genomics Suite are available free-of-charge to all Dartmouth researchers and are supported by generous contributions from the Norris Cotton Cancer and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.

The schedule will be as follows:

November 8th:

9:30am - 11:00am: Overview of the Partek analysis solutions for NGS data with live
demos using RNA-Seq, microRNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, DNA-Seq,
and Single-Cell RNA-Seq datta

Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

12:30pm - 4:30pm:Gain practical experience with Partek Flow through the analysis
of a sample RNA-Seq data set. This hands on tutorial session will
supply guidance on the following topics:
• Data Import
• QA/QC
• Alignment
• Quantification and Normalization
• Differential Expression Analysis
• Visualizations
• Biological Interpretation

November 9th:

9:30am-noon:This session will provide hands-on training for Gene Expression
analysis using Partek Genomics Suite. You will gain experience
in the following topics:
• Data Import
• QA/QC
• Exploratory Data Analysis
