The Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies supports a broad range of diversity-related progams and initatives, many of which are accessible through this website. You may navigate links on the DIVERSITY tab above, or you may view a comprehensive but not exhaustive list in PDF format HERE.
Read and keep up with the current Guarini Diversity Goals in our slide deck. We will be updating this periodically online and invite those interested to participate in the Guarini Diversity Committee meetings, details of the times and dates are below. The Diversity Committee is open to all members of the Guarini School community.
DIVERSITY COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE
All meetings are at 4pm unless otherwise stated. The Committee is meeting virtually until further notice and a zoom link will be sent out to all registrants before the meeting. To register, please complete the following Form -- please use your Dartmouth email to access.

Dartmouth PREP (DPREP) is a 1-year program designed to enhance scholars' competitiveness when applying to the nation's strongest biomedical sciences Ph.D. programs. DPREP is supported by the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies. DPREP encourages applications from underrepresented minorities who hold a recent baccalaureate degree in a field related to biomedical sciences that are interested in pursuing a research doctorate.
Dartmouth's Scholar's Program is a workshop designed to diversify the next generation of academic leaders in STEM. The Scholar's Program focuses on providing undergraduates professional development, graduate school application resources, poster presentation feedback, and practice mock interviews. We seek motivated undergraduate students who are curious about graduate careers in STEM and are looking for support in the graduate school application process.

Dartmouth's Academic Summer Undergraduate Research Experience provides summer research experience to undergraduates not enrolled at Dartmouth. If you are interested in applying, or know someone who does, please visit our ASURE program page.
The Guarini Diversity Award is designed to recognize outstanding leadership and determined efforts by graduate students in addressing and raising awareness about issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion across campus and in our community. Learn more HERE.
The Guarini Diversity Fellowship provides the opportunity to work in partnership with the Assistant Dean, Recruitment & Diversity to fulfill Guarini's commitment to building a supportive and inclusive community where diverse students are supported in their professional, social, and intellectual goals and pursuits.
This position is a two-year post PhD completion contract position and applications are being accepted currently for a start date of Fall 2023. Please send a letter of interest and CV to jane.b.seibel@dartmouth.edu if you would like to apply for the position.
Guarini works with OPAL and other campus partners to bring a stylist specializing in curly, wavy, and coily hair types, to a local salon.
